There were so many moments to choose from, but I have to say my favorite memory of the Royal Wedding was when Kate and her dad had exited the car in front of the Abbey and were getting ready to go inside. She looked calm, cool and collected, but her dad kept making sure she was ok. It didn’t matter that 2 billion people were watching on tv and thousands more in person. It didn’t matter that she was marrying into the Royal family. That was (is) his little girl, and he was going to make sure she was absolutely fine. She’s had years to get used to being watched – no doubt he was far more nervous than she was – but still he put aside any fears he may have had being upon the world stage to concentrate on his eldest daughter. What a great dad!
Oh, my favorite part was actually when Catherine was getting into the car outside her hotel. You could vaguely see some outline of what she was wearing, and everyone was so excited, but we had to wait for the car to move before anything was revealed…
My favorite moment was when William and Kate were about to start the processional back down the aisle. The music adjusts to allow for William to bow and for Kate to curtsey in front of the Queen and then the Queen nodded in acknowledgement. It felt like we had all been waiting for so long for this moment for Kate to be presented to and acknowledged publicly by the Queen and for them to be married that it was a huge moment for me!!
My other favorite moment was of course when Kate got to the alter and William whispered you look beautiful. Every guy should tell his wife that at the alter!
I thought the whole day pretty amazing, but my “aww” moment was as the carriage went into the archway at the Horse Guards building. William took Catherine’s hand and they just relaxed-for a few seconds they weren’t having to wave out opposite sides of the carriage. I was also touched at the way they both paid tribute as they passed the Centotaph-William of course saluting, but Catherine also bowing her head. Very dignified and respectful.
My favorite was when William turned to Catherine, just as she got to the altar, and told her – it appears – that she looked beautiful. There was something in that moment that made it seem more real, as opposed to a fantasy.
My favorite moment was actually being able to watch it. I heard so many people talk about watching Charles and Diana’s wedding that I was anxious for my chance to see a British royal wedding with my own eyes.
Apart from that (and actually within the wedding), my favorite moment was watching Will and Kate in the carriage. I was pleasantly surprised to see Kate bow her head at the Cenotaph, but to see the two of them with all the pressure over and just basking in their first moments as husband and wife was wonderful.
There were so many great moments at the royal wedding but my ultimate favorite part of the wedding is William & Catherine’s carriage ride back to Buckingham Palace. What I found so powerful was when William saluted the guards, Cenotaph and upon entering the gates of Buckingham Palace, Catherine bowed her head everytime and just seeing them pay such a regal respect together and as husband & wife was very powerful in my eyes. To me, in those very sincere moments I saw The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge become the future King & Queen of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth.
They will make a great team.
Besides the sheer joy evident on the faces of the members of both families and Pippa’s dress (which I covet), I would have to say Will having a hard time getting Catherine’s ring on her finger. See? Both he and Catherine were just as nervous as any other bride and groom when it came to getting married.
Definitely my favorite part was the procession to the altar. Beautiful bride, nervous and proud father, cheeky best man turning around for a peek …. what’s not to love? I also loved seeing an Anglican ceremony — not something to which I’ve ever been exposed before.

I would say one of many of my favorite things about the royal wedding was not only the reveal of Princess Catherine’s wedding dress, but I absolutely loved how the couple payed tribute to Diana. That was really lovely!
I enjoyed watching the Royal Family and members of the wedding party arrive at the church. I was so excited to see what everyone was wearing.
There were so many wonderful moments Ella. I think when William first saw Catherine in her gown and he told her she looked beautiful, the minor members of the royal family showing up minibuses, James Middleton’s overly dramatic reading, Pippa, and the vows themselves.
My favorite part was either when the couple left the church or the balcony appearance. I love the interactions with the crowds.
I stayed up to watch the royal wedding live and I would so love a copy of the Dvd. There were so many sweet and touching moments but I have to say my absolute favorite was when the irrepressible Harry snuck a quick peek as the beautiful bride made her way down the asile.
I loved how when Catherine was waiting outside, and Pippa was adjusting her train, Catherine turned around to have a look back to see everything. It reminded me when Diana was on the steps of St. Paul’s and looked back over shoulder. I felt like Catherine was looking to Pippa for just a little bit more strength, in a good way, for her to go down the aisle with:) Pippa holding the little bridesmaids hands was so sweet, too. And finally, getting treated to TWO kisses on the balcony, well, that brought a huge smile to my face!
I love the pomp and circumstance of the whole thing! I think my favorite moment though would be when Will and Kate exited the church with the bells ringing. It sounded like a nation was celebrating!
It was so sweet to see Prince Harry and Pippa chaperoning–and having fun with–the young bridesmaids and page boys during the carriage procession to Buckingham Palace. Just like any good brother or sister would do on a sibling’s wedding day, the Best Man and the Maid of Honor shouldered responsibility for what was probably one of the tougher logistical aspects of the wedding, transporting the gaggle of excited kids safely to the Palace and giving the other members of the wedding party (including, of course, the bride and groom) a chance to relax and enjoy their moment in the spotlight. Adorable!
I think my favorite moment was when William and Catharine walked out on the balcony and she said, “Wow!” She probably could not believe the sea of people who came out to see them. Other favorite moments were when they left in the car for Clarence House, and when they kissed on the balcony- both times!

My favorite moment from the wedding is actually a tie between two: seeing Catherine’s dress as she arrived at Westminster Abbey and when William got to see her for the first time at the altar. His expression was so loving and warm. Whenever I’m at a wedding, I always like to watch the groom as the bride walks down the aisle. The entire day was spectacular, and I’m so happy I was up at 3am to see it!
I loved when the National Anthem began and they panned through the church to William and Kate standing tall and singing God Save the Queen–as the future King and Queen– and then across to HM, Carole, and finally to Michael who seemed to be singing his country’s national anthem with such feeling. No doubt a man who has loved his country his whole life and now is standing feet from his monarch while his little girl has just become a Duchess. I can’t imagine the complicated emotions he must be feeling. So powerful and moving!

Of the very many, there is one that completely warms my heart. For those who downloaded the BBC video from iTunes, it begins about 34:33. William and Harry are walking to the alter and pass by members of the BRF. There is that moment when they all see each other and the smiles on everyone’s face are so full of love and affection.
I loved when Catherine looked back right before going into Westminster Abbey. She looked beautiful and looked like she was ready to get inside to meet with her groom.

When Prince Harry kept turning around during the processional and whispering to Prince William. And When Prince William whispered to her when Catherine and her Dad reached the altar.
well there are many things that i love or my favorite part when princess catherine is going to abbey… to inside the car with his dad micheal … and when princess catherine walked down the aisle and when she is on the altar with prince william whisspered to princess catherine she look beautiful and when princess catherine walking on the aisle prince william is not looking at her bride … i really love that thing and when they off to the buckingham palace … to their preccession was really beautiful and when the crowd is watching as they kiss double times …it was great and fantastic
So many favorite moments! I really loved when she was walking down the aisle to him. There was so much anticipation and excitement in their air! She looked so graceful and regal!
If it’s not too late to enter, my favorite part was the video of them riding from the church in their carriages. I particularly like the video of Harry encouraging the children to wave and of William helping Kate out of the carriage and helping her with her train.
Several favorite moments, but the best (right now), was Kate’s very brief smile when the Archbishop declared them man and wife, and you could hear the cheers from outside the Abbey.
My favorite part of the wedding was the time they were sitting down. Already married, but with alot of service left, they couldn’t help but look at each other. They smiled, winked and chatted with each other until it was time to go sign the registry. You could see how much they loved each other and how happy they were. It also seemed they they were inching to hold hands or even (dare I say it) kiss right then and there.
I loved the very unexpected moment William and Kate left from Buckingham Palace for Clarence House in Prince Charles’ Aston Martin convertible!
I pick this as my favorite part of the day because it seemed to epitomize the message they desired to send out to the world: They are the future King and Queen of England but their lives together would contain lots of fun moments, with just enjoying being together.
(sorry, please delete above comment – forgot to include my tweet!)
My favorite part was the peripheral of many of the photos – the throngs of people lining the streets, as well as the security forces. It was clear that a tremendous amount of effort went into this day, and that many people there (and a thousandfold more around the world, at least) were excited and passionate to share in it!

When Kate exclaimed “Oh, wow!” upon seeing the huge crowd that had gathered in front of Buckingham Palace… One can never be fully prepared for that moment!
I loved the wedding, felt chills when Catherine emerged from the car and we saw her dress (and tiara choice!) for the first time. But I think my favorite part of watching the wedding was the hour or so beforehand, watching all the guests enter, seeing all the foreign royals, the Spencer relatives, the York sisters, the Queen and Camilla, etc. And seeing everyone’s dresses and hats, and seeing Harry and William arrive, all the pomp and ceremony of the arrivals… Unforgettable! And, I tweeted about it, too!
